PDG Domus has been been accepted as a “Path Builder Partner” Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing. Our application was accepted the week of February 15th. PDG Domus is particularly proud, as we are the only Ohio Builder Partner in the program. Green building, also known as sustainable building, is the practice of creating more resource-efficient and healthier models of construction, renovation, operation, maintenance and demolition.
The green building approach requires attention to a broad array of issues and incorporates the following measures to reduce and ultimately eliminate the impacts of buildings on the environment:
- Sustainable Development – ensures smart site planning and land use, as well as controls erosion and minimizes impact on natural areas.
